I loved the spacious two-bedroom suite which was perfect for our group. The hotel's proximity to downtown Des Moines allowed us to easily explore local restaurants and attractions. The evening gatherings with generous snacks and drinks were a highlight, creating a nice social atmosphere. One downside was the high parking fee, which added to our overall costs.

We stayed in a King Studio with Sofa Bed. The layout was cool, with a kitchen area that was nice for hanging out. But the mattress was pretty soft, and I wasn't a fan of the pillows either. The window view looked out onto a brick wall, which was honestly a drag. It just felt a bit outdated for a Marriott. The bathroom was decent size, though!

This place suits me perfectly with great amenities like fast wi-fi, a welcoming 24-hour reception, and a pleasant indoor swimming pool. I fondly remember how the staff helped my elderly parents during our first visit. I'm eager to return for my next trip.
